LOCATION:DISTRICT WIDEJOB TYPE:0.4 FTE WITH POTENTIAL TO INCREASE TO 0.6 FTESALARY: PER UNIT A CONTRACTJOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who will bring strong expertise in sensory integration and a passion for working with diverse learners in a collaborative, school-based environment. This position requires the candidate to:oProvide school-based occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 PlansoConduct evaluations and write comprehensive reports to inform eligibility and service planningoDesign and implement evidence-based interventions that address fine motor skills, sensory regulation, self-care, motor planning, and other school-based functional skillsoCollaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student participation across school environmentsoProvide consultation and training to staff on sensory strategies and classroom modificationsoContribute to team meetings, progress monitoring, and data collection processesoSupport inclusive practices and help adapt curriculum and school tasks to ensure access and participation for all students
