Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans
  • Implement a variety of physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
  • Inform and guide patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and home exercise protocols
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of evaluations, therapies provided, and patient progress, abiding by facility standards
  • Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to facilitate coordinated patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is highly desirable
  • Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
  • Prior experience is highly preferred
