Description

  • Craft tailored treatment plans that thoughtfully address immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to build comprehensive care strategies.
  • Provide essential education to patients and their families, empowering them to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • A completed supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
