Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patients needs and formulate tailored therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply established, evidence-based techniques to boost patients motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Engage closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide integrated, holistic patient care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Educate both patients and their families on therapeutic methods to encourage ongoing improvement at home.
  • Track Progress: Monitor and document clinical developments, making necessary adjustments to treatments to ensure optimal patient progress.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications supported and encouraged.
Certifications
  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
