Position Overview:

Deliver critical respiratory care in acute hospital settings, specializing in pediatric and emergency interventions. Join a dynamic team providing life-sustaining therapies during 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Licensure:
  • Active NY Respiratory Therapist License
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Experience:
  • 2+ years post-licensure acute care
  • Pediatric respiratory care (highly preferred)
  • Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is strongly preferred
• Technical Skills:
  • Ventilator/BiPAP management
  • EMR proficiency
  • BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred)
• Soft Skills:
  • Emergency response readiness
  • Autonomous decision-making
• Additional details:

• Provide advanced respiratory interventions
• Manage ventilator support and oxygenation therapy
• Respond to rapid responses and code emergencies
• Deliver specialized pediatric respiratory care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
