Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with experience in patient evaluation and rehabilitation plan implementation.

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic environment
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Potential to float within the organization according to relevant clinical experience and company policies
• Treats a variety of patient types following physician referral or direct access
• Utilizes modalities and exercise equipment present in the facility
• Uses Kronos system for timekeeping with badge swiping
• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment, supervision of assistants, and participation in community events
• May perform ergonomic and functional capacity evaluations as well as post-offer testing for employment
• Expected to assist with marketing, patient scheduling, and referral management when needed
• Professional attitude required with all patients, providers, and community contacts
• Supports business development initiatives and may engage in marketing to referral sources

• Current Physical Therapist license in good standing required, if applicable
• Must maintain all licensure requirements for the state of employment
• Competence with evaluation and treatment of injured workers is expected
• Ability to supervise and direct physical therapy assistants and technicians
• Familiarity with billing codes for various payer types
• Strong communication skills for updates to referring physicians and rehab nurses
