American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient role requiring a Georgia or Compact license and experience with orthopedic, neuro, vestibular, and oncology diagnoses.

Responsibilities

Outpatient physical therapy setting with patient population including orthopedic, neuro, vestibular, and oncology cases
Work schedule is Monday through Friday with varying shifts: 9:00am6:00pm on Monday/Wednesday, 7:30am4:15pm on Tuesday/Thursday, and 7:30am12:00pm on Friday
No weekends or call required
Floating may be required within the facility and within scope of practice
Assignment length is 16 weeks
Responsibilities include evaluating and treating a range of outpatient diagnoses such as ortho, neuro, vestibular, and oncology
Orientation includes specialty modules completed during initial training
Must be available to schedule labs and complete required documentation within 48 hours of contract signing
No blocked scheduling permitted
Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift in the same unit
Perm/PRN staff must be away for one full year from all Piedmont facilities to be eligible
If a candidate is deemed unable to return to one facility, a successful assignment outside the system is required before rebooking
Maximum of 7 days RTO may be requested; no RTO allowed during the first week
Holiday coverage is required based on the number of major holidays during assignment; specific holiday RTO rules apply
Locals are accepted at the same rate
Full compliance with orientation and documentation is required to start on time

Requirements

Active Georgia or Compact PT license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience required
Unit accepts first-time travelers
TWO supervisory references, manager level or above, highly preferred for consideration
