Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Mental Health Therapist (LMFT or LMHC , LPCC) to deliver therapeutic services within skilled nursing and long-term care settings. This role presents a rewarding opportunity to positively impact individuals dealing with complex emotional, psychological, and cognitive issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to residents' needs.

* Perform diagnostic assessments, including Alzheimer's screenings, cognitive evaluations, and psychological testing.

* Develop and implement behavior management plans, with strategies for pain management.

* Support residents with emotional adjustment to facility life, including grief and loss.

* Collaborate with facility staff, families, and healthcare providers to create and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.

* Educate and train facility staff on behavioral health best practices.

* Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal mental health regulations.

* Emphasize alternatives to psychotropic medications and physical restraints.
