37.5 Hours/Week Position Overview A school district in San Jose, CA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with moderate to severe needs across K-12 grade levels . This is an onsite position offering a rewarding opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team that serves students requiring specialized support. Position Details Start Date: August 2025 (exact date TBD) Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (Monday-Friday) Grade Levels: K-12 Caseload Focus: Moderate to severe communication and language needs Location: School-based, San Jose, CA Further caseload/site details will be discussed during the interview Primary Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy services to students with moderate/severe disabilities Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with special education staff, families, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and ensure documentation compliance Support functional communication needs, including AAC implementation if needed Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid California SLP License and/or CTC Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome Experience working with moderate/severe student populations strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Must be available to work onsite Lana Griffin
