Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a part-time School Speech-Language Pathologist for a Pre-K assignment in Washington requiring an active WA SLP license, ESA, and ability to travel during the workday.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a school-based setting primarily with Pre-K students
  • Part-time schedule, 2 days per week, 8 hours per day, totaling 15 billable hours per week
  • Day shift, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Potential to travel between childrens homes and other job-related locations during the workday
  • Assignment is a leave coverage with the possibility of extension
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to Pre-K students as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Travel to different educational or home locations to deliver services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Resume required for consideration
  • ESA certification must be active prior to start; conditional ESA will not be supported but the school can help expedite the process if needed

Requirements

  • Active Washington SLP license required for consideration
  • Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
  • ASHA CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Valid Washington State drivers license required
  • Ability to travel independently between locations
  • School-based experience preferred but not required
  • Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • License required if applicable
