Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Kent, WA, serving an elementary school setting. This contract role involves working onsite full-time during the school year, providing specialized speech and language services to students ranging from elementary through middle school.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 45 to 50 students daily, delivering individualized assessments, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring. The role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student communication development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state SLP license and ESA certification required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and school-based SLP practices a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage a large caseload
Location: Kent, Washington (elementary school setting)
Work Schedule:
- 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
- Onsite commitment throughout the school year
