Job Description:
Vocovision is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic remote team to work with students in South Carolina. This position involves providing teletherapy services to K-12 students, assessing and treating a variety of speech and language disorders in a virtual setting. Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs, progress, and IEP goals.
Provide speech therapy for a wide range of speech/language challenges, including articulation, fluency, voice disorders, receptive/expressive language, and social communication.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create an integrated and supportive learning environment.
Maintain detailed documentation, including therapy notes, progress reports, and evaluations.
Utilize teletherapy platforms and tools to engage students effectively in therapy sessions.
Stay up to date with best practices in speech therapy and teletherapy technologies.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, school district requirements, and licensure standards.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of South Carolina.
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
Previous experience working with children and K-12 students is highly preferred.
Experience or comfort with teletherapy platforms (prior telehealth experience is a plus).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage a caseload effectively.
Passion for helping students improve their communication skills and reach their potential.
Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and other special education documents.
