Speech Therapist in Arvada, CO

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available to provide specialized support to PreK through 5th grade students in a single-site setting. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, beginning in October 2025 and concluding at the end of May 2026. The position is located in a vibrant Colorado community, offering a rewarding chance to impact young learners' communication skills during a critical developmental period.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license is required; candidates with licenses in process will also be considered
• ASHA certification mandatory
• DORA license is not required for this role
• Experience working with PreK-5th grade students in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students based on evaluated needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans targeting communication disorders
• Maintain accurate records and regularly assess student progress
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support consistent communication strategies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
