A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Idaho Falls, ID, on a contract basis. This role involves providing occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and developmental needs throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students as prescribed by IEPs
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to support student progress
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records
• Assist in assessing students functional abilities and adapting learning environments
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)

Required Qualifications:

• Current COTA certification and licensure applicable to Idaho
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and school-based intervention strategies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
