We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students across K-12 grades in a dynamic school environment in Tyler, Texas. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development by providing therapeutic interventions designed to enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to meet students needs within the school setting
• Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists, educators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence for school-related tasks

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IDEA regulations is a plus
