A Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This contract position is designed for recent graduates seeking to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year while gaining valuable experience working with a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with educational staff to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation to parents, teachers, and administrators
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards within the school environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for or possession of a CCC-SLP from ASHA
- Enrollment in or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and abilities
- Knowledge of current speech-language assessment and treatment approaches suitable for school-aged children
