A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive speech therapy services in a K-12 school setting located in Edmond, OK. This position focuses on supporting students through evaluation, individualized treatment plans, and progress monitoring during the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language evaluations for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to ethical standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs across K-12 grades
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in educational settings preferred but not required
