Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel contract job in Louisville, KY. This 13-week assignment offers 12-hour shifts at a busy hospital supporting a range of inpatient and emergency care needs. Ideal candidates will be confident working independently with a variety of patient populations.

• Shift: 3x12s | Night Shift | 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

• Weekly Hours: 36

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and administer treatments

• Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and chest physiotherapy

• Respond to code blues and rapid responses

• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipment

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Required: Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner license, or willingness to obtain

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA); NRP and PALS preferred

• Credentials: RRT or CRT through NBRC

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care respiratory therapy experience

• Preferred: Experience with adult and neonatal ventilator management
