A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This role is based on-site in Hazleton, PA, and serves children ages 3-5 with mild to moderate speech delays through early intervention programs. This is a year-round contract position, offering consistent weekly hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to children aged 3-5 experiencing mild to moderate speech delays
- Implement early intervention strategies tailored to each childs needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in early intervention settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Ability to engage and motivate young children effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
