Occupational Therapist School Setting in Burlington, VT

A contract Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Burlington, VT. This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to students across all grade levels, helping them improve their functional abilities and participate fully in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students physical and cognitive needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure integrated care within the educational environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
• Provide consultative services to address classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably K-12.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain proper documentation.
• Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IDEA regulations is preferred.
