An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Taos, NM. This contract position focuses on delivering therapeutic services that enhance students' ability to participate fully in their educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students needs to develop individualized occupational therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students fine motor, sensory, and cognitive skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
• Provide guidance on accommodations and adaptive equipment to optimize learning conditions.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential required.
• Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
