Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and parents to design and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional goals.
- Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Assist in creating adaptive equipment and modifying classroom environments to support student participation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to engage with students of various ages and abilities in a supportive manner.
- Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy practices and compliance with educational regulations.
