A dynamic opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to the development and well-being of students by providing tailored occupational therapy services that enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and parents to design and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional goals.
• Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Assist in creating adaptive equipment and modifying classroom environments to support student participation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience working within a K-12 school environment preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to engage with students of various ages and abilities in a supportive manner.
• Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy practices and compliance with educational regulations.
