Occupational Therapist School Setting in Pasco, WA

A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Pasco, WA. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students motor skills, sensory processing, and fine motor abilities to develop individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapeutic goals within the classroom environment
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students to enhance participation in school activities
• Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and clinical standards
• Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights on student needs

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license with eligibility to practice in Washington State
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy, including sensory integration and adaptive techniques
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
