Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students motor skills, sensory processing, and fine motor abilities to develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapeutic goals within the classroom environment
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students to enhance participation in school activities
- Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights on student needs
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license with eligibility to practice in Washington State
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy, including sensory integration and adaptive techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
