A K12 educational setting in Pasco, WA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students communication development. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic school environment, helping children achieve their speech and language goals under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized speech therapy plans for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy support under the direction of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication needs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
