A K-12 school in Hoquiam, WA is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Assist students with developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges to improve their independence and success in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to tailor interventions that meet individual student needs.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications:
- Current COTA certification/licensure in the state of Washington.
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
