SLP Clinical Fellow - Chula Vista, California

A K-12 school in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students across a wide age range in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct speech therapy services to students K-12
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required

Qualifications:

• Completion of a graduate degree in speech-language pathology
• Currently pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status with ASHA certification in progress
• Valid state-issued SLP credential/license or eligibility to obtain one for the educational setting
• Experience or training in pediatric speech-language therapy preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
