A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Burlington, VT. This role focuses on assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering effective communication and speech development services to students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assist in screening, assessing, and monitoring students speech and language progress.
- Provide direct support to students under supervision, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and session notes.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with educators and families.
- Support the creation of a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
