We're currently seeking a Per Diem PTA who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping individuals regain their strength, mobility, and independence.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based care. You'll play a key role in supporting patients through their recovery journey, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals with personalized treatment and compassionate support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment techniques as appropriate within the established plan of care.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort, addressing age-specific needs and adhering to pain management protocols.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
  • Provide guidance and support to Physical Therapy Aides and assist in managing departmental workflow.
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

    • Licensure: Current PTA license from the Missouri Board of Physical Therapy.
    • Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    • Experience: New graduates welcome; mentorship available.
    • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
