Position Overview:
The University of South Dakota (USD) invites applications for a dynamic and student-centered Assistant Professor of Practice in Audiology. This full-time, 12-month position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program within a collaborative and supportive academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee clinical education and placements for AuD students.
Provide didactic instruction in areas aligned with expertise.
Supervise clinical practicum and mentor students in evidence-based practice.
Engage in service to the department, college, university, and professional community.
Participate in student recruitment and program development initiatives.
Qualifications:
AuD or PhD in Audiology or a closely related field (ABD considered).
ASHA CCC-A and/or ABA Certification (or eligibility).
South Dakota Audiology license (or eligibility).
Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
Preferred experience in audiologic evaluations, hearing aids, and cochlear implants.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
