- Monitor, assess and report changes in medical conditions for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Train staff to provide high-quality care through ongoing education, trainings and competency evaluations
- Coordinate services and supports, prioritizing health and safety
- Participate in team meetings, planning and implementation of person centered health care
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing standards of care
- Comply with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines
- Communicate with multidisciplinary team members to meet individual patient care needs
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Applicants must be flexible, able to work in a team and self-directed environment, and possess excellent time management skills

- Education: College degree from an accredited nursing program
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state of ND
- Current valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Two years' experience working in a DD setting preferred
- Candidate must be able to work in a team and in self-directed environments, possess excellent time management skills, dependable and compassionate
Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides parallel support to the Director of Health Services. This position will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall medical needs of the people served on their caseload. This position will ensure the organization is in compliance with Title XIX standards, CQL standards, Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and other standards that govern our organization. This position will also work in concert with site managers and other staff which includes members of the Quality Assurance Department. Duties may include gathering data and metrics for the organization and also recognize and respond to trends and patterns.
