Mental Health Counselor 2 (EAP Specialist) **Duration:** 3 Months (possible extension) **Schedule:** Standard Shift 8 Hours **Pay Rate Range: **$35/hr **Job Description:**- **Provide clinical services to WTC EMS members and their families who present with a variety of needs including, but not limited to social, emotional, family, physical, and job performance problems as well as substance abuse disorders.**- Conducting preliminary interviews and documenting cases from the initial consultation to the end of treatment- Developing appropriate intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups- Collaborate on intervention plans with other mental health specialists, doctors, nurses, and social workers.- Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients admitted to the hospital.- Identify and prevent behaviors that impede recovery- Assist family members and primary caregivers in managing mental behavioral challenges**Required Skill:**- Ideal candidate would have a LCSW, LMTF, LMHC or a related master's degree, Or mental health license (preferred) and effective verbal and written skills.
