Your Role and Responsibilities- Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
- Implement Effective Interventions: Apply evidence-based therapeutic practices to enhance patients motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in unison with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded patient care.
- Educate Patients and Their Families: Arm patients and caregivers with knowledge on therapy methodologies to facilitate progress outside the clinical environment.
- Track Patient Progress: Maintain accurate documentation of patient development and modify treatment plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Commitment to ongoing education and advanced certifications is encouraged.
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
