Job Responsibilities- Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and construct personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in sync with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive, integrated care.
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy methods to ensure ongoing improvement at home.
- Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Keep track of clinical progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring patients remain aligned with their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
