Description
  • Conduct assessments of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting personalized treatment strategies
  • Implement physical therapy treatments focusing on mobility, strength, equilibrium, and daily functionality
  • Engage in collaboration with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
  • Inform patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and home exercise routines
  • Complete documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
  • Take part in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure coordinated patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological or geriatric) benefit the candidate, but they are not mandatory
Skills
