We're seeking a talented, full-time Physical Therapists to join our early intervention services team in Prince George's County, MD.
This role offers you the chance to work directly with young children in the community, helping them thrive and reach their full potential.
Professional License Requirements:
Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.
* Hold a master's degree or doctorate from an accredited university
* Have active state-level licensure as a Physical Therapist
What to expect from this role:
Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.
* Ability to evaluate and treat students, helping them negotiate the school environment, improve school performance and engage with their peers
* Serving as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with physical therapy concerns
* Working and building strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators
* Facilitating goals and objectives per child's educational plan
* Assisting children with mobility
* Assisting in developing plans to improve gross and sensory motor development
* Conduct family training sessions when necessary
* Performing other PT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
* Ensuring all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
