Wall LTC Physical Therapist

A skilled nursing facility in Wall Township, NJ, is currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time. This role involves providing top-tier care to residents in a 130-bed facility. About the Opportunity: Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility, 130 beds Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday, Fridays required Contract Length: 6 months with potential extension or conversion Responsibilities: The Physical Therapist will be responsible for: Providing and directing rehabilitation care within accepted practice methods Evaluating resident needs and establishing treatment plans Coordinating treatment plans with staff and other disciplines Participating in resident screenings Providing feedback on clinical and rehabilitation issues Qualifications: At least 1 year of current experience Master's degree in Physical Therapy Active Physical Therapist license in NJ Experience in older adult rehabilitation Knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines Strong communication skills Team-oriented mindset Problem-solving abilities Desired Skills: 1+ years of experience in a similar role Master's degree in Physical Therapy Additional certifications in geriatric care Proficiency in electronic health records Strong interpersonal skills
