Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract A part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is sought to provide specialized therapy services within a K-12 educational setting for the full school year. This contract position is based in Athens, TN, and offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of students requiring occupational therapy as indicated in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of 14 students with varied frequency:

7 students weekly (30-minute sessions)

4 students bi-weekly (twice per month, 30-minute sessions)

3 students monthly (30-minute sessions) Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and legal standards Adapt therapy strategies to meet individual student needs and goals Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist Assistant licensure and credentials Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school environments Familiarity with IEP processes and educational regulations related to therapy services Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams Location and Schedule: Position located in Athens, TN Part-time schedule of approximately 5-10 hours per week, aligned with the academic calendar for the full school year This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on students' physical development and school success through personalized therapy interventions.
