Part-Time Physical Therapist Opportunity - Outpatient Orthopedic Setting

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking licensed Physical Therapist to join a progressive and supportive team in an outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Long Beach, NY.

This is a part-time position with a consistent schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (15 hours/week).

Patient Conditions May Include:

Arthritis

Neck pain

Balance disorders

Fractures (e.g., ankle)

Responsibilities:

Deliver care under the Plan of Care established by the supervising Physical Therapist

Apply modalities such as ice or heat packs, and assist with therapeutic exercises

Monitor and guide patients through prescribed rehab programs

Document daily notes and patient progress in EMR under the supervision of a PT

Provide clear instruction on exercises and equipment use

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times

Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT

Job Requirements

Active Physical Therapy license in New York State

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently with appropriate PT supervision

Strong interest in outpatient orthopedic care and patient education
