OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - SCHOOL
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, private, special education school who is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist.
Salary - $70,000-$85,000 Depending on experience
Excellent benefits package - Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Program
Days/Hours: M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the exception of Tuesdays and Wednesdays when there are after-school meetings at 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist:
Evaluate students needs for occupational therapy
Provide therapy to students
Compile daily session notes
Execute progress reports and IEPs
Work with families and school staff
Job Requirements
Must have a NYS Occupational Therapist Certification
Must have prior experience working with children with special needs
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 2 years related experience
Must have prior experience working in a special education setting
Highly skilled in the IEP process
Ability to form and maintain relationships with parents, teachers and faculty
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to provide 3 professional references
