MSAD #11 is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment for all students. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team to provide essential services to students with diverse needs.
The ideal candidate will:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other areas impacting their educational success and communicate the results to diverse stakeholders.
- Develop and implement individualized plans based on students needs and goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, service providers, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies across environments.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings.
- Provide consultation and training to staff to support students development and access to school.
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in occupational therapy within the school setting.
