Job Overview:

Evaluates, plans and implements Physical Therapy treatment in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must meet basic professional entry-level educational requirements from an accredited physical therapy program,
• Licensed to work in the state of NJ,
• BLS through the American Heart Association,
• Computer literate,
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs,
• Experience in acute care setting preferred,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem
• Day Shift

Essential Functions:

• Analyzes gate to make appropriate recommendations for assisted devices
• Assesses the patients balance, coordination, proprioception abilities
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to meet individual needs
• Develops a treatment plan based on patients functional abilities
• Evaluates and treats the muscular, skeletal, neurological and cardiovascular patients
• Makes referral recommendations for additional patient care services as required
• Works with the referring physician for individual needs
• Performs other duties as assigned
