Travel Respiratory Therapist - Certified RT/CRT

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a variable shift hospital assignment requiring WI state licensure.

• Work in a hospital CRT unit providing respiratory and neuro diagnostics services
• 13-week contract with variable 12-hour shifts (0700-1900 or 1900-0700)
• Every weekend is required with no PFT performed on weekends
• Patient care may involve floating within the hospital as needed
• Uses Paragon/Allscripts for acute care documentation and T-System for the Emergency Department
• First-time travelers are accepted and encouraged to apply
• Travelers cannot live within a 60 mile radius of the facility
• Holiday RTO limited to one request if multiple holidays occur during assignment
• COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this assignment
• Orientation includes up to 8 hours of mandatory modules completed via Kronos
• Candidates may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities
• Satisfactory compliance with credentialing and onboarding deadlines is crucial for assignment retention

• Current CRT or RRT credential from NBRC
• Active and valid WI state license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Associate degree from an accredited respiratory care program
• BLS and NRP certifications required (AHA certifications must be completed prior to start)
• Ability to meet both NBRC certification and registration requirements
• Preferred credentials include CPFT, RPFT, ACLS, and PALS
• Fingerprinting required for MI placements
