Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to support students in a K-12 school setting for the upcoming school year. This contract position is located in Laporte, MN, providing occupational therapy services to help students achieve their educational and developmental goals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists, educators, and families to create and implement individualized treatment plans. Assist students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities that support academic success. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary educational planning. Qualifications: Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, staff, and families. Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to meet diverse student needs.
