Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A healthcare professional is sought to provide Occupational Therapy services for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in Lakewood, WA. This full-time, in-person contract position offers an opportunity to support a diverse student population aged Pre-K through 12th grade with a caseload of approximately 50 students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students within the school setting Collaborate with educators, families, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development to enhance student support services Adhere to school policies and professional ethical standards Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant experience in healthcare, school-based therapy, teletherapy, and home health OT Proven ability to manage a caseload of varied age groups, particularly in school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Commitment to in-person service delivery; virtual services are not applicable for this role Location and Schedule: Position based in Lakewood, Washington Full-time schedule, 35 hours per week Assignment duration from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026 This role offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational and developmental progress through specialized occupational therapy.
