Full time opportunity for experienced OT with experience with ASD and Pediatric Feeding preferred, to be part of a collaborative and dynamic pediatric rehab team!

Job Summary

Helps children of all ages to participate in the activities and daily routines more successfully and independently. Routinely evaluates and treats children who have physical, cognitive, developmental, sensory or social emotional challenges that affect their ability to perform everyday tasks.

Essential Functions:

Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.

-Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.

-Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.

-Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.

-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, speech therapists and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care.

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.

-Attend staff meetings, continuing education programs, and professional development activities to stay current with new techniques and best practices.

Education
Master's Degree Occupational Therapy required

Licenses and Credentials
Occupational Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience
occupational therapist experience 1-2 years required experience as a licensed OT with some experience with ASD/pediatrics required. Feeding experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work effectively with patients and co-workers.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
