Respiratory Therapist

$2,800 Sign On Bonus (Full-time employees)
Shifts Available: On-Call Weekend
JOB SUMMARY:

As a Respiratory Therapist you will work closely with residents of our Skilled Nursing facility in the first vent unit in Oregon . This will include providing excellent respiratory care, trach care and ventilator management. This person will work closely with other clinical staff including nursing, Occupation, Physical and Speech therapists.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide respiratory care to residents within the ventilator care unit
• Administers medications physician orders
• Weekly rounds with pulmonary physicians
• Support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes and inventory
• Administers therapeutic gases as ordered by physician
• Set up and manage various types of respiratory care equipment
• Assists in training new and existing staff
• Other Duties as Assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active NBRC Credentials
• Active Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner state licensure
• Active BLS Certification
