School Speech Pathology Cypress, Texas

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience is sought for a K-12 educational setting in Cypress, TX. This contract position covers the normal school year, providing the opportunity to support a diverse student population across all grade levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
• Maintain detailed documentation, including progress reports and evaluation summaries
• Monitor student outcomes and adjust therapy strategies as necessary
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation when appropriate

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid school-based SLP licensure or certification
• Experience working in a K-12 school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records
