We are seeking a compassionate and skilled **Occupational Therapist** to join our **Acute Care** team in **Janesville, WI** . This part-time role offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery in an inpatient setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in an **inpatient acute care** environment.
+ Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and independence.
+ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
+ Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
+ Document all care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
**Qualifications:**
+ Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Wisconsin.
+ Acute care or hospital-based experience preferred.
+ Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.

**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Assesses patient 's ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills. Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
+ Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Documents findings of patient progress. Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed. Seeks consultation as necessary.
+ Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
+ Oversees the care provided by designated individuals according to established regulations and practice standards.
+ Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, or related area as required to obtain licensure in state of practice

+ Constant standing.
+ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
