Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and cultivate personalized therapy programs to help them achieve their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and overall daily living activities
• Engage in Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and caregivers about therapy practices to promote continuous progress beyond the clinic
• Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical advancements and adjust therapies as necessary to ensure optimal patient alignment and success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement of continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Necessary Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
