Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients of all ages using a variety of standardized assessments and observation methodologies.

• Implement focused speech therapy sessions that emphasize communication, language development, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work alongside a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to ensure a seamless care experience.
• Provide education to patients and families to enhance progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapy as required, ensuring comprehensive continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
• Keep precise and timely records that adhere to state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
